My Indiana
When we moved to Indiana in late January, I had no idea I would be surrounded by such beauty every day. Frozen fog in the winter that frosted the trees in the most remarkable and awe inspiring, sparkling display, horses grazing and free to run in fields literally within two blocks of my home – in every direction, flowering trees, long eternal country roads, and enormous houses surrounded by corn fields, stables, and small lakes… the list could go on and on.
Pictures like these make me long for a country life I’ve never lived. Somehow I am certain that I would fully appreciate walking my imaginary farm or saddling up my old, gentle horse for a slow, easy ride over the back forty. In many ways, I have become quieter in Indiana. It took me several years to appreciate the beauty of the marsh in the Lowcountry of South Carolina but it’s just taken me a few months to conclude that the Indiana landscape might be my forever favorite. My dad would have loved it here.

Thanks everyone! What a lovely thing to say, Jan. Thank you.
I LOVE seeing new places & being midwest born & raised I have to admit to being predjudiced, I’m thinking ROAD TRIP to visit the P2P Pixies in their native turf sounds like something I need to plan….*U* K
