My name is Anne Lineberger. I have lived in Belmont, NC, for 40 years but I call Florida my home state and really miss it when the snow starts falling up here! I became a CMC in 1996 after attending a beginner class and spending much of it hopping from one person to another suggesting ideas for their page!
I find I typically take pictures of children, grandchildren, beach – water in most any form.
I use my trusty Canon Power Shot but am saving for a big girl camera. I made the switch to digital maybe 4 or 5 years ago? Haven’t looked back!
The photograph dictates how I start a page. So most pages go pretty quickly, but then sometimes, it’s fun to start doodling, adding, decorating – trying new things. I am so thankful for the team members who have created those great blueprints – that makes page assembling so much faster! Some of my favorite albums are the ABC books for grandchildren – I tried to create pages of familiar objects that they would love reading over and over again. You know you’ve succeeded when the pages begin to look a little ‘loved’! Digital scrapbooking is so much quicker and neater than traditional. I am such a messy person anyway so traditional scrapbooking nearly drove us all out of the house with pieces of paper and photo splits stuck everywhere!!
I think I’ve finally gotten past the “You still doing that little scrapbooking thing?” comments. My family loves the digital albums and projects that are created because of this addiction!
I’m inspired by the photograph, the world around me, and those cute grandbabies!
I get to write some of the instruction sheets. That’s really fun to do because I learn new techniques along the way! I have to say that the fence was fun to do and it was sometimes challenging trying to come up with new things to add each day.
