How are you going with your Day2Day photos and pages? I’m actually going to give myself a pat on the back and say that I’ve done much better than I thought I would. Just this week I posted my 26th page, so that means I am half way through the year. Yay me!

Most days, I find something to take a photo of, but then occasionally,  I’ve missed a day! Darn! However, that’s when I might resort to grabbing an image off the internet for something that has happened in the world news. E.g., The Queen’s Jubilee, I grabbed a photo of the Queen online. Then it was the one of Robin Gibb, one of The Bee Gees who died. That was significant for me, as I was a Bee Gees fan way back when I was a young’un. Sometimes I’ll use a random photo that I might have and write about something totally different. Last week, I attended the funeral of a friend’s daughter who had died in a car accident. No photo, but I could still journal about it on my page.

As much as I want to, I haven’t been following the themes all that well. And that’s ok too. What I have done though, is keep to the black and white theme when creating my pages and nearly everytime, I have used one of our pixels2Pages blueprints, sometimes with some tweaking. They have been a life saver. If I was going to do this, it had to be a no brainer, simple, meaningful and easy to do. I do my pages every weekend, usually on a Saturday with that being the last day of my week.

Now, for the next 26 weeks. I’m sure I can keep going, this has now become a habit that I don’t want to break.

You have enthused me enough to take the photos Jenny, but I’m afraid like others, I have fallen way behind with my pages! Maybe I can try harder in the second half of the year! Great motivational blog. It is such a great idea and I hope I can make it all become a worthwhile habit like you, one that I won’t want to break!

You can do it Pamela! Just think of it as a diary about your daily life and take photos of day2day things. Even if it is about not liking poached eggs! 🙂

It’s so good to share this year with you, taking a photo each and every day. I’m so glad you have kept on with this journey, I love seeing your pages and photos – it’s another way we connect!

Way to go Jenny! I have been taking my photos everyday, but, like Sharlene, I’m behind in getting my pages done. Using the blueprints really does make it a lot quicker and easier, especially since I’m a plain page girl!

Really a great feeling Jenny I’m There with you. Had a great time with June theme but not sure about red, white and blue will try but if I slip I know the only punishment I get is my own thoughts. You Pixies are the highlight of my life I talk to your picture all the time and am so happy we can be distant “Friends”. Thanks for all the comments you make. I look forward to your posts and pictures they are fabulous. Love Fay.

Good for you Jenny! I can’t believe that we are already more than half way through the year. I have been able to keep up with taking a picture every day but have fallen way behind in making my pages (I guess I know what my project is for the next few weeks, lol). I have at least been posting my pictures on facebook every day, I get a real kick out of the comments I get and how many people tell me that they look forward to seeing my pictures.
