I love trying new recipes from  Especially, if there are only a few ingredients.  Well, this recipe for homemade Butterfingers doesn’t get much easier than 3 ingredients – candy corn, peanut butter and chocolate.  I wondered, would this really taste like a Butterfinger?  Yes, they do and they are delicious!

After making this a couple times, I have found that I like melting the candy corn in a double boiler.  The candy corn wanted to cool too fast when using the microwave.  Using the double boiler, I could keep it over heat and stir in the peanut butter.  Have the peanut butter scooped out of the jar and ready to stir.  I have used both crunchy and creamy peanut butter – crunchy seems to get more votes.  You want to mix the candy corn and peanut butter as quickly as you can and pour into your dish.  It will start to harden pretty fast.
