Life gets hectic sometimes. We run from here to there, appointment to appointment, groceries, kids, work, church and gatherings with friends and the list goes on. Life has been hectic at the Browder’s, so in April when pixels2Pages did their Birthday Crop I relished in what I call digital downtime. There was nothing I had to do and everything I wanted to do! It was so refreshing to sit at my computer and work on my personal pages. Creating pages using our Blueprints gave me the freedom to look for the pictures and reminisce over fun times. I first used a Blueprint that required I find a picture of myself as a young child. That was fun and morphed into an hour long respite of looking thru my scrapbook of all my growing up pictures (which aren’t many but they’re all I have). I then continued to work on my Mediterranean Cruise album using an idea from the Video Tidbit “Word Merge Collage”. I actually completed this trip book during the crop and am getting ready to print at the Panstoria Print Shop. It will be fun to relive that trip when the book arrives in the mail.
I then worked on a page using a picture my husband took of my granddaughter giving me a sweet little kiss. I used Challenge #151 for this idea! This was truly a weekend to be inspired by others. While I love creating pages from scratch with my own ideas I had a lot of pages I wanted to get done so I chose to be inspired by others and take advantage of their talent.

These few pages you see and working on my travel book (which ended up being 97 pages) help me remember how blessed I truly am. I’m living a great life, my church is an inspiration, my partners inspire me, support me and help me grow, my husband of 31 years still makes my heart flutter and I am very joyful to be able to get up in the morning and enjoy my grown children (who are out of the house) and my grandchildren who live not too far away. Also I want to thank all of you who post pages that give me great ideas and congratulate all of you who diligently work on your family memory books!
