BlogHeader_Kim_ScrapbookingStuffJust a few years ago, the Miranda family moved to Gilroy–a family of three boys and amazing parents, Angela and Alex. But God wasn’t done building this family, because six months ago, little Aaron was born.

Now I have the honor of hanging out with Aaron on Wednesdays for a few hours.  My youngest kids are 17, so it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to be so mushy gushy, and I am thoroughly enjoying him!  Even on the days when we have a “6 wiper” (if you know what I mean), I still love having him around!  This past week he was my little work helper and ghost writer for my blog.  While he banged his toy on my keyboard, I wrote.  With little “patty cake” breaks in between work, we were a good team.  When we finished with our masterpiece, Aaron and I took a lunch break. He had sweet potatoes and we shared a bottle. I usually like to have a side salad with my formula 🙂

Right now he is happy sitting on my lap, but soon he’ll figure out that we aren’t really playing. He’ll be on to me.

I have discovered that babies don’t care how many photos you take of them unlike my teenagers.  Aaron doesn’t say, “Let me see how I look in the picture before you post it.”  So far all my November pictures are of Aaron.  He has his own face tag in my Historian vault.

Aaron just told me that he would like to go take a walk now.  At least I got my blog done until next month.

I just love your example of giving your life away to the people around you. From the shelter to the neighbors to Heather and your children and Tony, you are a constant model of serving those who cross your path. You are an inspiration!

“Adopted” grandkids are the best! I too “adopted” the 3 girls across the street since their grandparents are all out of state. It is so much fun having little ones around again. Enjoy your time with Aaron.
