I LOVE digital scrapbooking. The ability to re-size, change color, apply a filter to suit my scrapbooking needs is so much fun! However, I am a crafter at heart. I still like to get my hands on paper and create something. If I am not digital scrapbooking, you can usually find me at my Cricut! With my Cricut Explore, I can bring any image or svg file into the Cricut software and design a project. I can even bring my digital scrapbooking elements into the Cricut software, print the image and then my Cricut Explore will cut the image. It is just so much fun!
Images 1-3, I purchased the cutting files (svg) from SVGCuts. I LOVE purchasing cutting files from SVGCuts. They provide GREAT printable handouts and most of their cutting files have videos showing you how to put together some of the more intricate pieces.
Image 4, I saw the idea on Pinterest and then created the tags and text.
Image 5, I used pixels2Page’s Pixie Dust – Cricut printed and cut the images.

Kim, this is wonderful. I have a Cricut and I love making hybrid projects out of my digital stuff. All of the hybrid workshops that you have done I just love. I also would love a Cricut workshop!!! Go Pixies!!
Wow! I need help with this one. Looking forward to a p2p LIVE chat on this.
Did you know you can convert the .svgs to digital images? I have a converter application on my MAC that will make them .pngs. You can use them on digital pages, too! (But you probably already knew this…)
oh…. Cathy. I didn’t know that! I’ll have to check it out! Thanks for the tip!
Oh, Kim, you are going to get me in trouble!!! I think we need a P2P Cricut workshop! I can’t wait to get my new Cricut so I can make some of these cute projects!
Hi Debbie,
I would love to do a Cricut workshop! I was thinking maybe a day in Morgan Hill, or I could figure out a p2P LIVE chat….. we’ll get something going!
That would be great, Kim! I would love that. I would come to Morgan Hill for a Cricut workshop. I really want to try some of the box cards you made and a few other things.
Hi Debbie, the box cards I purchased were from SVGCuts and work GREAT! They have great handouts and videos to watch how they are assembled.
