NewChapter_Banner_TBI can hardly believe that pixels2Pages is five years old.  Actually, we are 5 years and 1 day.  So many things have changed.

I still remember the days when I had my own YouTube Channel and Blog where I would post StoryBook Creator Plus tutorials.  I loved the software so much.  I craved knowledge about the software and sought out any class I could find.  That is when Dawn Oldham and Jan McCallum did Webinars on behalf of Creative Memories.  I remembered Dawn and Jan’s names specifically because it was through them that I learned the most and was able to run with it from there.  I would only attend webinars conducted by Dawn or Jan as they had a way of opening my eyes to new ideas.  Needless to say, I was floored when Jan contacted ME and asked if I would be interested in creating a joint blog.

There was a lot of blood sweat and tears to get off the ground.  Those of you who have been with us from day one may remember a few of our hurdles.  However, what no-one other than the p2P Team has seen is the true grit of our struggle.  Time and time again, pixels2Pages’ existence was threatened, but we believed in what we do so much we fought and fought to be here.  We love the software and we want you to love the software as much as we do.  For the past 5 years, we have rallied up support for our members and made every effort  to make their digital experience an enjoyable one.    Over the years we have partnered with various people to bring fresh and new inspiration.  We constantly upgrade and review our offerings to provide you with the most up to date information in a professional package.   Sometimes you were a little apprehensive about the change, but guess what??? Some changes scare us to death.   Every time… change proves to be good.

Over the past 5 years we have changed so much as a company, but we have also changed personally.  Biggest change for me is that as this blog posts, I will be minutes away from being the last point and shoot Pixie.  I will officially move into the world of DSLR.  My mom has bought me a Canon Rebel EOS SL1 as an early 40th Birthday Gift.  Nothing too fancy.   I still wanted something small, so this was the camera for me.  I hope to get the Pancake Lens when my birthday actually rolls around in June.  I am looking forward to a big change in my pages as I improve my photography.   Change is good indeed.

What a great blog post Tameka!! I remember being so jealous of those who had StoryBook Creator from the beginning, because working on a Mac, that wasn’t an option for me. Try selling a program when you can’t demonstrate it. Then SBC Studio was introduced and I was hooked. The only thing I had to contend with though was even though it was very similar, it was also VERY different. I learned to tweak things and ended up with some fun pages. Once it became evident that CM would no longer be supporting Studio I talked my husband into partitioning my computer so I could continue to play. I have not looked back since then. It’s still a learning process, but I am ever thankful for the Pixies and the community that has grown on the Facebook page. I look forward to checking in with others every day to see what’s going on in the world of my digital friends. I am so excited to continue learning and doing and creating more pages, storybooks and projects to tell my family’s stories. Thank you to all of you for your support and encouragement!!! I can’t wait to see what the future holds in store for all of us.

Grit is a good word to describe what the Pixies have demonstrated over the last 5 years. Congratulations on sticking with it and making it a reality. So many of us love our software even more as a result of you Pixies and all of your wonderful offerings.
