NewChapter_Banner_TB I love to design.   I like to think that anyone who scrapbooks is a designer, just with varied styles. Some are minimalist and some are over the top. Personally I think that all of the designers in the Panstoria Store are OVER THE TOP. The designs they offer on a daily basis are completely WOW factor, don’t you agree? If you have not seen all of the cool new content, click here to visit the Panstoria Store.   Click here to see all of the fabulous designers that have shops in the Panstoria Store. Blueprint Borders Lattice Lines FIpixels2Pages also has a shop in the Panstoria Store.  In our shop you can purchase retired Blueprints, Blueprint Books, Collections that are exclusive to the Panstoria Store (never having been offered as part of the pixels2Pages membership), digital art and more. The pixels2Pages team also works hard to continually offer you something new and innovative. Today we will be introducing to you Blueprint Borders. We take pride in the fact that we have such a close relationship with our members and fans – nearly 15,000 of you! We keep an open ear for your needs and try to fulfill them.   We have heard you say that you wanted borders and you needed them to be flexible.   Many of the things we create are based on some sort of need – usually a personal need. I love borders. I don’t necessarily like to create them every time I need one, so I tend to create very basic borders for my pages.  On occasion I would create a border that I completely fall in love with.  I would then use that border, or elements of it, on another page. I would switch out the content, maybe add or remove an element or two. I would find myself doing this often. I then decided to save my favorite border elements in a Personal Art Kit. I would use these elements over and over, but I always had a lot of tweaking to do to get my completed border just right. Sometimes I was just too lazy and began to wish that all of the elements saved in my Personal Art Kit would go together perfectly so they could just be added to the page and filled. I didn’t want to do anything but add the layers to the page and fill them with whatever content fit my page. It was right then when I had my AHA moment! What I needed did not exist. I needed to create it. I needed a predesigned border that offered the flexibility to rearrange the layers, fill them with the content of my choice and switch out elements if I chose.   That sounds really similar to pixels2Pages Blueprints, doesn’t it?  I immediately went to work designing a kit that would fit my needs and the needs of others.  My goal was to create borders that can be anything from highly decorative to simply elegant.  Versatility  was the most important aspect that I wanted incorporated into this product.   Ease of functionality was also very important.  I didn’t want to over complicate things, but I wanted to make sure the end user had lots of options that could fit their individual taste.  I am proud to say that my time in the design room yielded a product that fits this criteria. It was so exciting to work with the entire pixels2Pages team as we fine-tuned and tested this product.  I fell in love with each border as each layer was enhanced in detail.  It is my hope that you too will love the borders as much as I do.  It is for that reason that we have put one full border set in the Panstoria Store for FREE.   You get one border set that can create over a dozen different border combinations.  The fun doesn’t end there.  By purchasing the entire kit, you will unleash border magic beyond compare as you begin to mix and match layers from the 4 different border sets.  I have personally come up with 83 different border combinations.  You can view many of these border combinations in our product catalog.  Please check out my labor of love.  As always, we would love to hear your feedback!

This catalog is a wealth of new great ideas. Aside from using the snipping tool, is there an easy way to print it (for my personal use only)

These are fantastic! Thanks for including the instructions. Also such a great idea to include both pages with the full borders, and elements to create our own.

So cool !! I did seem them in the store prior to seeing this post and thought they would be interesting. I downloaded the freebie but didn’t try them right away. After reading all this, I just added them to a page to see how they would work-they are great. Thank you so much!

Will there be a video to show how you use these?

    • Tameka says:

Look for a short video later on. Most likely with the launch of the June Issue of Pages. In the meantime, the product catalog covers every last detail of how to use the borders.
