NewChapter_Banner_TBMy sister-in-law got married last weekend. Congratulations to the happy couple who are currently enjoying their last days in Jamaica at the private villa they rented for their honeymoon.

The past year flew by and was filled with details to make the perfect wedding. I always say “the devil is in the details”. But there is lots of love in the details as well. My sister-in-law knew exactly who to go to so that all of the fine details and customization were exactly the way she wanted. From save-the-dates, to invitations, programs, and seating cards… everything had a touch of Artisan. We scheduled craft dates to get things just right. She had a super large wedding party.
She picked out some pretty cool stuff to give to her bridal party as thank you gifts. Bridesmaids received wine with an engraved wine glass (Bath and Body Works was substituted for the Junior Bridesmaid) a t-shirt with their title, their jewelry for the wedding and a handwritten note. The groomsmen received some very nice watches and a pair of colorful socks that they would wear during the wedding. All of this was very nice, but she wanted the presentation of the gifts be perfect (and on a budget). Artisan and my Cricut Explore helped out big time. I designed the tags in Artisan, then print and cut them with my Cricut. They looked very professional if I have to say so myself. We stuffed everything into $2 photo boxes or bags and voila. When the items were delivered to the recipients, I think they were more impressed with the thought and attention to detail of the packaging than they were for what was inside the packaging. This made the bride very happy. Even the men appreciated the tags made for them that hung on their shopping bags.
For the wedding, we created customized table numbers. Each of the 20 tables were named “Love is…”. It was cool to see place card setting for 231 people lined up and quoting the scripture and other sentiments of love. Unfortunately, the venue forgot to put our custom designed table numbers on the table. They also forgot to give out the programs we created. The devil was at work trying to make things fall apart and dismantle the brides’ vision for her special day, but GOD IS GOOD. Everything turned out just perfect because love never fails…and there was so much love in all of the details.

There were so many special touches the bride was able to add to her wedding thanks to Artisan, the Panstoria Printshop (for the save the dates) and my Cricut.
