See what you missed last month at, your digital scrapbooking resource.

Rabbit, rabbit, y’all!

We are entering the last quarter of 2015, and for us, it’s the busiest time of the year – always!  This year is no exception; in fact, it’s even crazier than normal!  Keep reading to find out why….

Forever LIVE - 7 Pixies in one place

Oh my gosh!!  I am still trying to catch my breath after the whirlwind that was Forever LIVE!!  First, and I am speaking on behalf of the entire pixels2Pages team, I have to tell you how much fun it was to meet so many p2P members and fans IN PERSON!  If you weren’t there, trust me when I tell you there was much excitement, squealing, hugging, training, and picture-taking going on all day long for four days!  Of course, it started for the p2P team on Wednesday afternoon, when Shelley and Penny finally met Anne, Tameka, and each other, and in Penny’s case, Kim.  It was an historic moment when SEVEN Pixies were physically in one place at the same time.  Next on our list is to have all eleven of us at Forever LIVE 2016….

But back to the main event… the official festivities started shortly after registration opened on Thursday afternoon.  Vendor tables were set up and the hugging and picture-taking began.  The excitement was palpable!  Everyone knew that Artisan 5 was in their goody bags (as well as lots of other cool stuff) and some could not wait to start the installation process.  I won’t share all of the details of the weekend, as I suspect you will be reading more about Forever LIVE in the next couple of weeks, but suffice it to say that we had tons of fun and we can’t wait to do it all again next fall!  Speaking of reading more about Forever LIVE – just wait until you see our new PAGES magazine!

A thousand thanks to FOREVER CEO Glen Meakem and his awesome staff for hosting the Picture Party of the Year, with special thanks to Ellie Guttilla for making sure it was as awesome as it was!

Purchasing Artisan 5

The Panstoria store is transitioning to the FOREVER store, and the Panstoria Print Shop is moving to the FOREVER Print Shop, so things might seem a little bit wonky right now.  We ask for your patience, as the end result will be worth the wait.  Once the transition is complete, you won’t need to remember to click on affiliate links before making purchases – you will simply choose your FOREVER Ambassador (like pixels2Pages, yourself, or a friend who is an Ambassador) and ALL purchases you make will be linked to that Ambassador, including content, software, printing, FOREVER accounts, digital conversion services, FOREVER projects, and more.  Easy peasy!

It is important to note that Artisan 5 is so powerful and capable of more complex manipulations than Artisan 4 is that it will not work on a 32 bit computer.  You must have a 64 bit computer running Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 to use Artisan 5.

Updating Artisan 5

You are probably aware that brand new software programs usually come with a few bugs, despite the best efforts of the programmers to find them prior to release.  While Artisan 5 is no exception, we do have some crack programmers who will come up with fixes pretty quickly.  HERE is the link to the first update that you should run on Artisan 5.  It will fix the following bugs:

  • photos not used/already used not working in photo panel
  • corrupt files stopping kit indexing
  • zoomed photos in A4 projects showing up wonky (yes, I speak technese…) in A5 projects

If you know you have not updated Artisan 5 yet, please run this update even if your program tells you it is up-to-date – that is one of the known issues still being fixed.

Using Artisan 5

We know you have questions about Artisan 5, so we have set up a new Facebook group for people who have already purchased and installed Artisan 5 or for those who are curious about it.  We are requesting that you post all questions about Artisan 5 in this group for several reasons:

  • the group is searchable, which means you can look to see if your question has been asked and answered before you ask again
  • it will be one place where we can keep all of the information together and questions won’t get lost in between pages posted on our regular Facebook page
  • bugs can be reported here, and you can also learn if a problem you are experiencing is a known bug that will be fixed or if it’s something new that needs to be reported
  • you will be able to post screen shots of error messages or things that aren’t working
  • we will be able to add files that may be helpful to A5 users
  • the group will be open, so people who have purchased A5 but who are not p2P members can get their questions answered, too

Artisan 5 Training

Like we told you last month, we will add in bits and pieces of Artisan 5 training on the p2P site where and when we can – be sure and have a look at today’s video tidbit!  By January 1, we will be training solely on Artisan 5; however, everything currently on the website (Artisan and SBC 4 related material) will stay, so don’t despair if you are still using Artisan 4.  There are not too many people that have done all 278 challenges, watched about 400 videos, read hundreds of tips, used countless Blueprints, and downloaded probably thousands of pieces of Pixie Dust (and used them!).  There is plenty on the website to keep you busy!

For those moving on to Artisan 5, we ask your patience as we work through it, too!  We will still keep adding content as our current schedule calls for it, so you don’t have to worry about learning everything at once.  Near the top of our list is revamping Back2Basics for Artisan 5, but it won’t happen over night…

Artisan 5 Virtual Training for FOREVER LIVE attendees

Today is the last day to let us know that you’d like to attend ONE ‘after LIVE’ training session.  Email us at and we will let you know when the virtual classrooms will be open (later this month).  This offer is open to FOREVER LIVE attendees only.

p2P Virtual Crop

Our next crop is scheduled for 23-25 October.  Crops are a great time to be a p2P member (so you can get crop goodies and earn discount coupons!) and to get lots of work done.

New to the idea of virtual crops?  Your questions answered HERE.

p2P e-Newsletters and Pages magazine

We send out several e-newsletters each month – are you on our mailing list?  Click HERE to make sure you are.  (Have you signed up to follow any of our Pinterest boards yet?)

Our quarterly Pages magazine is full of inspiration for your projects – just look at the pages others have done!  Pages is a great way for you to share pixels2Pages and digital scrapbooking with friends, too!

FOREVER Ambassador Program

As you may know, pixels2Pages has been a FOREVER Ambassador since the end of last year – we knew a good thing when we saw it!  If you have been a Panstoria affiliate and/or print shop affiliate, you may have heard that all of the affiliate programs are in transition.  We can help you navigate through the changes and get you on the road to a successful business.

We invite you to join us as we spread the word about FOREVER, its mission, and its products and services.  Have a look at the video posted on our home page for more information about the FOREVER brand and family.  If you’d like to join our Ambassador team, please click HERE and then let us know that you’d like to be on our team by emailing  Once you’ve been assigned to our team, we will add you to a special Facebook group and mailing list so that we can support you properly.

It’s disappointing when you use a Facebook group for certain things. I am not interested in having a Facebook account so I miss out on some of the benefits of a subscription with Pixels2Pages. I believe everything should be available on your website.

    • Jan says:

The things we use Facebook groups for are not member-only offerings, K Hoover, so while you may be missing some opportunities, they are not ones that are included with your membership. We are always looking for ways we can improve our member offerings and our website, so we appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration.

Can anyone tell me how difficult the transition from Artison 4 to Artisan 5 will be. I’ve been using 4 since it came out, and I’m pretty comfortable with it. I want to upgrade to 5; however, I have just started a Hope album I want to do for my son’s graduation. I know that’s 7 months away, but it really isn’t a lot of time to cover 18 years worth of photos. Anyway, I don’t want to make the switch and then be so overwhelmed with the new program that I can’t finish the album in time.

    • Alison says:

Stacia, the new program has a number of differences that may take a little getting used to. However, there is plenty of help available to get you up and running. and the good news is, you can keep Artisan 4 going and complete your album in that, while you play with Artisan 5 and learn all the new things. Just be aware that if you open an album in Artisan 5, you won’t be able to go back and open it in Artisan 4 anymore. So we recommend that you make a copy of any projects you’ve already started in A4, and only open the copy in A5, not the original project, just until you are comfortable with A5.

My favorite thing from p2P is Start2Finish on first Thursday of the month. Will that continue?

  4. Rhona Collinson says:

    Hello Pixies
It may be a good idea to remind members that they cannot upgrade to Artisan 5 if they are using a 32 bit computer. I paid for the upgrade and it wasn’t until I came to the download that I realised the upgrade was not available to me [should have read the fine print, but was too excited about getting the upgrade!]. I was very disappointed but Artisan 4 has been a good friend so far, so that’s what I will be continuing to use.
