NewChapter_Banner_TBI am still on my Forever LIVE high.  What an amazing experience.

As many of you know, I am a former Creative Memories Consultant  and have attended countless Showcases (CM Conferences).  What I loved the most about Showcase was being in the know, getting cool content and meeting up with people I was only able to talk to during conference calls and through social media. I loved that everyone in attendance were there with a common goal – to celebrate their memories.  Everyone celebrated their memories in a different way, but that was okay.  I have missed that since I deactivated to pursue my passion with pixels2Pages.  After Creative Memories closed its doors, I am sure many others have missed that too.

For the past several months I have had the pleasure of working with Forever to plan the inaugural Forever LIVE event and to beta test Artisan 5 software.   I can tell you the excitement for this event started long before September 24, 2015.  Every week we would meet and get excited about what we had achieved and what would be possible.  Many different heads got together to plan an event that photo enthusiasts and scrapbookers would enjoy.  As you now know, the picture party of the year was a huge success.  Artisan 5 is getting rave reviews.  Yes, there are a few bugs, but Forever is working feverishly to fix them.  (You gotta love their commitment to excellence.) Most of all, people left Forever LIVE  feeling renewed, re-energized and excited about Forever.  Ambassadors repeatedly said that they felt as if they finally had a home.

But something unexpected happened and I can’t pinpoint the exact moment.   Maybe it was the moment I met Shelley Alexander for the first time after working with her for nearly six years.   Maybe it was the multiple moments during the breakouts I instructed when I showed something pretty cool in Artisan 5 that prompted the 100 plus people in the sessions to chant “Ooooooohhhhh Ahhhhhhhh”.   Maybe it was the moment when the developers of the software said to me, “Hey! That was pretty cool.”  Perhaps it was the moment when I met Glen Meakem, Ellie Gutilla and the Forever Team for the first time.  Probably it was during the countless conversations, hugs and greetings with pixels2Pages members and fans.   Somehow, unexpectedly, I felt that I was a part of something BIG – a movement to preserve memories unlike any other movement.   Forever is changing the way we save memories and therefore, changing the future.   It is changing the way we pass on our legacy.   50 years from now, I may not be here, but my stories will – passed on to my grandchildren and great grandchildren.  They will add their own stories, photos and memories so that then their grandchildren and great grandchildren will know their family’s history.   They won’t have to research and hunt to find out about their family tree, who their family was, and what they were about.  It will all be there – safe and preserved.  The work, already done in a permanent Forever account, will be passed on from generation to generation.   As I stood with my team members in front of everyone at the gala while pixels2Pages received recognition for our part in planning Forever LIVE, my heart swelled almost in the same manner it did every time I gave birth to one of my children.   I looked at them and saw bright futures – and I am watching their progression every day.  Well, this was just the beginning of something more and I look forward to watching Forever grow like wild fire.

Today I don’t have a page to share.  I just have my one Forever moment.

Can the dates for 2016 be posted as early as possible? I really wanted to go last year but couldn’t swing the time off to work. I definitely plan to make it a priority this year!

I loved meeting you in Atlanta. And learning from you. And celebrating with you and the rest of the pixies. The Oooooooooh, Ahhhhhhhhh! moments were countless and I couldn’t wait to get home to jump in. A little glitch on my Mac prevented me from playing with A5 while I was there but I jumped right in when I got home and have been having so much fun discovering what I can do with the program.

I am so excited to hear the work has already started for the next event. I can’t wait to hear more about it and sign up.
