Our scrapbook pages are all about the photos! So you need to know how to get your photos off your computer and into your projects, and how to add photos to your pages. The following handouts will take you step-by-step through the process of getting photos into your project (both from folders on your computer and from your Historian vault) and then using them on a page. Click the images to see the tutorials  in large view or to download and print for your personal use.

I’m new to Artisan. I’m having trouble adding more photos to a project with ‘Get Photos’. I followed the steps and when I clicked Add selected photos from album, nothing happened. They did not appear in work area. I must be missing a step?

I don’t see anything about bringing photos into an Artisan project directly from my Forever storage. It seems the only way I can retrieve photos from Forever is if they are in an album (can’t bring them in directly from the Library). The album is arranged by latest date to earliest so I have to scroll through lots of pictures for a year if I’m not looking for the latest photos. It seems that if I tag my pictures, I can find them by the tag but this is a lot of tagging that I prefer not to do just so I can bring my pictures into a project. What am I missing? I would love to know how folks are bringing photos into their Artisan projects – what the preferred method is. From their computer, from Historian, from Forever, etc. I have moved all my photos into my Forever storage account and would appreciate any tips on best way to work with them and retrieve into an Artisan project. Thank you.

I typically pull in my pictures into Artisan from Forever Storage. For some reason, the Create Date of the picture (in the properties) is showing as the day I pull the picture into my Artisan project. How do I get it to show the date I actually take the picture? I’d like to arrange the pictures in the order they are taken when I look at them in Artisan. Thanks for any help you can provide!
