See what you missed last month at, your digital scrapbooking resource.

Rabbit, Rabbit, y’all!!  And happy Leap Year!

Wow!  I almost don’t have words for how impressed I am with the way we started the year – almost 3000 pages reported done during our first quarterly virtual crop.  We’ve sent out scores of coupons for printing at the Forever Print Shop to those of you earning badges – way to go!  It looks like many people have embraced Artisan 5, too, and are having lots of aha moments as they learn new tricks and try out new tools.  Keep the momentum going – you know that the more you use the program, the easier it becomes.

During the crop, we released the latest version of Pages magazine, our online e-zine.  This quarter’s issue features long-term p2P fan Carol Cornwell and is full of plenty of information and tips to help you Get It Done!  If you didn’t take time to peruse it while you were busy cropping, I encourage you to have a look now – it has inspired me!

I had fun on my annual January trip to the Detroit area as I was the trainer for the first ever “Forever Retreat

digital scrapbooking with Artisan and Historian, available at

Weekend”.  It was my fifth year sharing knowledge about our awesome software with this crowd, but it was the first year the event had been sponsored.  Let me just say that Forever does it right!  We had such a great time – Nick Kelsh was there and did a “Click with Nick” photo safari and was on hand all weekend, giving photo tips, taking photos, and posing.  And cracking jokes, of course!  Shelley Murray, sales trainer extraordinaire, was there from the home office supporting the Ambassadors who were in attendance and sharing Forever services (cloud storage, digitization, and online projects) with anyone interested.  She was even doing scanning for people at the event!  Anna Broome, VP of Sales for Forever, is the person who has coordinated this digi crop for the past five or six year, and she didn’t disappoint!  It’s always a thrill to see 100+ digi scrappers in the same place!

While I was in Michigan, Mary was in Oregon, doing another p2P Live event sponsored by Pam Winn.  She’s been doing that one for a long time, too!  We love every opportunity we have to get in front of Artisan and Historian users in person!  Here are some upcoming opportunities you may want to attend:

For more information about these events, click the links above, or contact us at   Space is limited for all of these events, so act quickly if you are interested in attending.

I have one more thing for you – we had such positive response to December’s Pixie Power Month that we thought we’d do something similar in March.  Thing is – this one is so big we couldn’t wait until March to start it (although it will not be finished until March)!  Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, 2 February), you’ll see a new heading on the mango bar across the top of the website called “Content Manager”.  In place of Tuesday’s regular tip, you’ll see that Content Manager has been populated with Artisan 4 and Artisan 5 tips specifically about Content Manager.  Most of the A4 tips have been on the site for some time, and not all of the A5 tips are new, but Shelley is hard at work getting them all up to date.  What’s going to be especially nice is that when you click on the “Content Manager” category, you’ll be directed to a page where it will be easy to find the kind of information you need.  We’ll be adding more tips, along with videos and tutorials/handouts in addition to the tips already in place.  We’re hoping you’ll take this opportunity to get your content and fonts in order so that it’s quicker and easier to create a page when you have a little time.  And if you’re already organized – crop on!!

January Posts

Now let’s see what was posted on p2P last month – the headings are links to the content described, and you’ll see images (which are not links) of January posts in the galleries that follow each heading.  Click on the image to see the title and author of the content.

Did I miss an announcement or something? I downloaded the February pages, but don’t see any Pixie Dust. I love your Pixie Dust and use it a lot. Have you discontinued the Pixie Dust?

    • Jan says:

Yes, Glenna, you must have missed a few announcements. We have discontinued Pixie Dust, effective January 2016, announced in December 2015. Forever is offering Freebie Fridays on the 4th Friday of each month, so be sure to grab those!

  2. Gloria says:

I have not received my coupon for my badges on the last crop. I saw where you had sent out scores of them already and was wondering if I missed something.

    • Jan says:

Please check your Facebook message box (under message requests or filtered messages) for a notice from Tameka or Shelley. While you are doing that, I’ll make sure they know you haven’t gotten your coupon yet.

  3. Sue Thoenes says:

Never mind my previous post, Miss Jan! I just saw where you announced it last month that the Pixie Dust will not continue, but the D2D Pixie Dust will continue. I love everything you do – Thank you Thank you!!!

    • Jan says:

No worries, Sue! We announced the change in December 2015, but that was a busy time! Forever is doing a monthly Friday Freebie on the 4th Friday of each month, so be sure to grab those, too.

  4. Sue Thoenes says:

Good Morning, Pixie Jan: I probably missed the announcement, but were you stopping Pixie Dust? Or, if you have it somewhere else on the site, let me know! Thanks for all that you do for us and I can’t wait for Pixie Kim at the Forever San Diego event!!

  5. Jan H says:

Thank you for the January summary. I had missed a few items. Looking forward to the content manager tips. You are the best!!
