I had such a great time participating in the first Forever Retreat Weekend on the West Coast! I was so warmly welcomed by the Forever team, Jenny Lynn Campbell and Melody Whitehead (ambassador co-hosts) and all the ladies attending the event. You made me feel special. It is so much fun to do live events and get to hear everyone’s reaction when they see a new technique or discover something new. We even had several “ohhh” and “awww” moments. I loved seeing everyone’s interpretation of the “By the Shore” Blueprint for the weekend challenge. And watching all the techniques taught in the breakouts being used on pages and posted is fun to see, too.
I love that digital scrapbooking is so portable. It makes it a lot easier to travel and gather with our friends to work on projects. Being able to get together in person creates such strong bonds of friendship. We share our lives with one another – the happy and sad. We can laugh together. We can cry together. We can celebrate together. I look forward to gathering in person again!

Loved !meeting you at the Retreat and learned so much! I know a great time was had by all that were able to attend – here’s hoping there will be another one next year!
Thanks Vicky! I had a great time too! Looking forward to the next time.
Thanks for representing p2P, Kim! I know you were fantastic! xx
Great photo, so bummed I missed it! Kim – when was this BP released?
Hi Suzy,
This BP was given out at the retreat.
Well that makes sense 🙂 Guess I will make it – I love the BP
How did you get the top right corner to ‘fold’ like that? I love it.
Hi Linda,
To make the fold, I cut a right angle triangle and rotated the “cut” piece to match the straight edges.
Thank you – I have tried everything but can’t seem to get it – ugh!
I figured it out – thanks!
Here is a very very old video that shows the technique of creating folded corners: https://www.pixels2pages.net/2010/12/22/folded-corners/
Hi Linda, I am planning on writing a challenge on this technique 🙂
Can’t wait for more “ooooh and ahhh” moments in Nashville this fall! I hope there will be a Pixie evening — have not seen anything about it yet. Hope you learned a lot and thanks for this great page idea!
