It’s time to talk Day2Day, aka Photo A Day, projects! We have celebrated so many milestones with our Day2Day project over the years. It’s hard to believe that 2016 is almost over!!! What a year it has been, with lots of changes and many good things happening throughout the year. Seeing all of the wonderful Day2Day weekly pages that have been posted is so encouraging and we congratulate each and every one of you for continuing throughout the year. Reading your stories and seeing the images is inspirational to say the least.

As most of you know pixels2Pages have posted quarterly lists of themes and a set of co-ordinating papers and embellishments to add to your Day2Day project over the last few years. The themes themselves are a suggestion only, to help you out when thinking or planning what photos to take during your Day2Day lives. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to the Day2Day project – snap a photo each day to place on a weekly page that then leads to a fabulous book at the end of the year. Very much like a visual diary! What could be better?!?! This project is the perfect place for those random photos that may not usually have a “home” in regular album making – or it could be the record for your entire year. The flexibility is endless, because it is entirely your own project to do in your style, your way. One of the best things about the Day2Day project is that by taking a photo each day you can improve your photography skills along the way. It doesn’t matter if you use your phone, a “point and shoot”, or a DSLR – all that matters is that you take a photo with whatever camera you have at hand.

2017 Day2Day is about to start – so it’s time to introduce the new themes and the new free embellishments that co-ordinate with the project. We are changing things up a bit for 2017. The themes will be brought to you monthly and the embellishments will be available from the Forever Store each month in a free pakit. Remember, the choice is yours, follow the theme for each day, just a few days, or go your own way with your Day2Day life. Watch for announcements for the new themes here on the website and on the various p2P and Forever Facebook Pages.

So …. here they are … the first month of themes for 2017! The free co-ordinating 2017 Day2Day January Themes Kit can be found HERE at the Forever Store. If you would like to print the handout, you can right click on the image, save it and print it out at home.

For some inspiration look through the gallery below to see the 2017 Day2Day January themed embellishments used on layouts from the 2017 Day2Day First Half Pre-Designed Book. Both are available in 12×12″ and 11×8.5″ sizes.  You’ll  see pages from the pixels2Pages team too!

Here are lots of beautiful sample pages from many of you sharing your Day2Day images week by week throughout 2017!

  1. Lois Berry says:

I’m looking for inspiration from others for day2day pix. is there a specific place on FB where day2day pages are posted?

    • Jan says:

Lois, lots of Day2Day pages get posted on the p2P Facebook page on Sundays and Mondays (and some other days) and this year, some people have been posting them on our Plan2Scrap Facebook group.

  2. Denise Houser says:

is there anyplace other than Facebook I can look at a gallery of what others are creating?

  3. Kathy Tuzzolino says:

Interesting choice to offer the embellishments in a free .pakit in the Forever Store on a monthly basis. Does this mean you don’t need to be a p2P member to have access to these free D2D .pakits?

  4. Deanna says:

I have right clicked on the handout but it won’t print. Any tips on solving this issue?

    • Janice says:

Deanna – when you right click you will have some options, one of those should be “Print picture”. If you don’t have that, you should have a “Save Picture As” and you can save it onto your computer and then go to that file and print from there.
