Rabbit, Rabbit!

Wow! What a great time we had with all of you at the January Jamboree Virtual Crop at the end of January. We were thrilled that so many of you participated and got so many beautiful pages completed. We would like to thank all FOREVER Ambassadors that created teams for the January Jamboree – it’s the first time we tried the team concept at one of our virtual crops but it seems to have been a success! We also have a special shout-out to #KarensKrazyKanucks on winning our random team draw for an exclusive Blueprint Collection. Be sure to click on their hashtag to see some of the pages they created. We hope you all will have your teams ready to go at our next virtual crop scheduled for April 6-8, 2018.

In other news…it is with great excitement that I announce today that Tameka Bond has been promoted to the Manager of pixels2Pages. Congratulations, Tameka! As you all know, Tameka has been a key member of the p2P team from the start. She is a great leader, amazing trainer, and is as passionate about p2P and the community that she has helped build. Please join me in congratulating Tameka!

I’d also like to take a minute to thank both Shelley Alexander and Alison Woof for their contributions to p2P over the last several years. Shelley and Alison both left the FOREVER p2P team last week but we know they will continue to remain active members of the p2P community and we wish them well in all their future endeavors. Though both ladies will be greatly missed, all of the p2P offerings and support that you’ve come to appreciate will remain the same. In fact, we look forward to introducing some wonderful new products and services this year! We’ll also have some old and new faces showing up in the group as our featured guests. Stay tuned for more details.

New Content Checklists

Twice a month, p2P has been posting a New Content Checklist listing the newest art kit introductions in the FOREVER store.  We’ve heard from you with concerns that you’re generating too much paper to keep up with what you want and what you already have. Our objective is always to help keep you organized and also help prevent you purchasing kits that you already have.  So beginning with the next art kit introduction on February 2nd, we are going to encourage you to keep track of your content in ways other than printing out New Content Checklists.  CLICK HERE to check out a recent tip which details several ways you can keep track of your content.

FOREVER Ambassador Program

FOREVER is always looking for Ambassadors to help spread the word about FOREVER Artisan®, FOREVER Historian™, pixels2Pages™, FOREVER Storage™, and FOREVER™ Digitization Services. We hope you’ll consider joining that effort. For information about how to sign up to be a FOREVER Ambassador, please click HERE.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since the p2P team is part of the FOREVER family, we are no longer serving as FOREVER Ambassadors (at least, not in the same sense as before!). If you have been choosing the pixels2Pages team (pixAbilities) as your Ambassador, we want you to be able to select a FOREVER Ambassador as your new ‘person’ instead of continuing to choose p2P when you check out from the FOREVER store. If you need or want suggestions, just email info@pixels2Pages.net and we can help you find someone that will meet your needs. Again, thanks for your prior support!

Our transition to the FOREVER store

We are so grateful to each of you who have purchased a new pixels2Pages membership in the FOREVER store!  HERE is a link to the latest update with regard to this transition. All monthly memberships have been cancelled at PayPal, as have all yearly ones that would have renewed between mid March and January 31, 2018.  If you had one of those, it’s time (or almost time) to click HERE to purchase a new membership. Remember to use the coupon code P2PTHANKYOU when you check out so that you receive your thank you gift (an exclusive Blueprint book and kit) from us. If you forget to use the P2PTHANKYOU coupon code, don’t despair – we are sending out replacement codes every Monday to anyone who forgot or didn’t know to use it. No need to contact us or support – we know who you are!

If you are an annual member, please make sure you stay on top of your p2P Blueprint downloads so that you’ll be ready when it’s time to get a new membership. Previously posted Blueprints will NOT be available after the purchase of your new membership. All other posts on the website (Bright Ideas, Tips, Videos, Blogs, Workshops, Handouts, Checklists, etc.) will be available as usual. And, of course, you will still receive 18 new Blueprints every month of your new membership! Did you download your January and February Blueprints yet?  If not, go get them now – click HERE!

If you still have questions about the move, click HERE to see answers to the most frequently asked questions.

February 2018 Calendar

Finally, here’s what you can expect this month, thanks to Tameka’s beautiful and detailed calendar. We encourage you to download and print out the calendar each month to help you keep track of all that’s available to you.

I don’t like changes 🙁 (sob) So much has changed!
Love you pixies!..will always do no matter where you are! Love and hugs always.
Tameka congratulations on your new role! Enjoy the new chapter in your life!

  2. Barbara Startz says:

We have been traveling for quite a while and today is my first day at a hotel with internet. Of course, the first thing I did was log on to p2P. I have to admit my first reaction to reading about the departure of Shelley and Alison was a very selfish “No!”. I wish you both much happiness, fun and adventure. Shelley, you have been my rock at p2P. I have learned so much from you – starting with the globe way back in the free days. You have an amazing blend of artistry and technical knowledge. Most of all, you have been so incredibly kind and supportive in responding to my questions. Thank you! Alison – for me, “Alison” and “match tool” will be forever linked. I go back to your video on this over and over. I know you are so much more than that and have loved all you contributions. Thank you. I will also miss the diversity of learning about both Shelley’s life in Doha (and everywhere!)and Alison’s life in Australia. I feel like you are friends and I will miss you both.
Meka – you had me from one of your early blogs which left me in tears. Not sad tears, but tears of recognition of a shared experience. Since then, I have been amazed not only at your ability to see things in the software that I can’t, but then turn it upside down and backwards to show us even more possibilities. Your creativity is incredible. Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion!

To Shelley, Alison and Meka – Thank you all for what you have given me and my family. Best wishes for continued happiness, loving families and fun!

    • Shelley says:

Oh Barbara, you have me tearing up! My most precious thing from my years as a “pixie” has been the friendships with people across the world. Thank you so much for your kind words.

    • Alison says:

Thank you so much Barbara for those kind words! I’ve loved getting to know you through your pages, and hope you will continue to be inspired to celebrate your memories.

  3. Linda DeLaughter says:

My words can’t possibly express any more love and gratitude than what has been said before me in this column. The inspiration and information and love gleaned from our wonderful Pixies will be cherished by me forever. Shelley and Alison, you have always been quick to solve any problem posed by your virtual Pixie students — did you ever sleep? My admiration for both of you is unwaivering. Both of you have provided me with unbelievable inspiration and have taken me down a creative path that I never knew existed in my life! How can I begin to thank all of you (including Jan and our other former Pixies!) for this website where we can find answers and inspiration?? At least I can relish the times that we have spent together! Your friendship is a great part of my life and I hope our paths cross again! Thank you for all those “teachable moments” in digital scrapbooking!

And to our darling Meka — I am so proud of you! Congratulations on your new position as Manager! You give us so many reasons to “ooooh” and “ahhhhh” at your Pixie moments! Love you so much!

  4. Lindie says:

As others have stated, it is with sadness and joy that we move on to a new phase. Alison and Shelley, I so enjoyed meeting you in Person and in Pages. Thank you for your support and comments. May you be blessed by our Lord in the future and know that we love you. Please stay in touch.

Meka, congratulations on your new spot. You are an inspiration and such fun. Enjoyed meeting you in Person and Pages also. You have such enthusiasm and spirit. May you be blessed by our Lord in the future and know that we love you. Looking forward to Forever, Live this year.

  5. Mandy Pena says:

Oh, Shelley and Alison! I was saddened to hear that you are leaving p2P. I just love your tips, videos, start2finish and just your input on pages. You will be greatly missed! p2P has taught and inspired me so much over the years. Sometimes is hard!! But I wish you well. Congratulations Meka!!! You are always such an inspiration to us all — love your videos!! I look forward to what is coming up with p2p.

  6. Cheryl says:

Just catching up on this news. Alison and Shelley you will both be missed but I know even more exciting opportunities are ahead for each of you as life takes you in other directions. I’ve really enjoyed learning about other parts of the world through your eyes. You both have been amazing at responding to pleas for help on the Facebook pages. Tameka I wish you all the best as you lead the pixies and all of us on our journey of preserving our memories and stories. You do it all with such enthusiasm and fun.

  7. Debbie Halsey says:

Wahhh–Shelley and Alison. I just read the Rabbit! Rabbit! for this month and saw that you are now Pixie Emeritius. I will so miss your weekly doses of creativity and simplified “How To….” Shelley–did you ever sleep? Whenever I asked you a question the answer appeared shortly thereafter–no matter what time it was asked! Thank you for sharing your lives with people all through the world through your pages.
Yay–Congratulations Meka! You are such a creative person who is also an amazing teacher! I am looking forward to learning from you this year in Windsor!
All three of you have brought a personal side of the world to all of us that have followed you over the years.

  8. Vicki Neil says:

Like Roslyn, I would not be madly creating digital photo albums, avidly awaiting new blueprint releases and pawing over tutorials if it weren’t for you, Shelley. From the time of the Olympic Park workshop where you showed us what was achievable, I was hooked! And you Alison, you might as well be a clone of Shelley – love the albums, pages, blueprints, bright ideas, and tutorials you’ve both created and shared with us. I’m going to miss you both terribly and can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done for us. Hope the future is especially bright for both of you.

  9. Roslyn Brown says:

Shelley Alexander in 2009 you inspired me to move on from paper & scissors when as guest of a consultant I attended a Creative Memories workshop in Sydney (Homebush Bay I think) hosted by you, to which you brought some of your beautiful books to show us. I was captivated, and since then have spent countless hours of pleasure, and a few of frustration, creating 35 books, several calendars and a few photo blocks. I have always loved the blueprints both you and Alison have made, the posts, tips and beautiful pages you both post. Two talented & hardworking ladies like you and Alison can’t help but be a resounding success whatever you do, & I wish you both the very best. Thanks a million.

  10. LynetteF says:

Shelley & Alison, we’re holding you to posting your amazing travel pages & those of your interesting local areas far from Tx! You are so inspiring to us. I’ll miss your voice in the videos, Alison, so may have to bookmark one or two for your lovely accent.
Tameka, we’re glad you’re continuing on and recognized for your leadership. I see you’re retuning to FL when it’s warm enough to dip your toes in the surf

  11. adakallen says:

OH MY!!! I blinked and then I am behind on everything!
I am sad and happy all in the same breath.
Allison, You have been a big inspiration to me.
Shelley, How will I every survive? You have pulled me out of the mud so many times.
I was SOOOO new to scrapbooking when I first saw the globe and I asked Tara Claborn where she found that? It is been p2P ever since. You all have taught me so much. I am literally sitting here in tears. First Jan and now Shelley and Allison…

  12. Carolyn says:

This story of transition is all about three “figure it out”women”from our team. From the beginning, Shelley was figuring out the software and sharing what she learned. She focused herself on becoming an expert in whatever task she was needed to fulfill for the team. With technical ability but no formal training, she figured out everything from the inner workings of a camera to the inner workings of a computer and applied it all to the our software. She collected problem notes, figured out solutions and shared them. She was critical, especially early on, in getting new users up and running and getting past technical bumps of their computers. Shelley is the best kind of teacher — one who is always learning.
Alison won every pixie’s heart week by week for a full year by “figuring it out” over and over and by revealing her character in the process. Through the time when we were not allowed to have Australian subscribers, Alison watched FB pages for new challenges and blueprints and Start2Finish pages, and without the benefit of being able to watch the instructional videos we posted, she figured it out. Unlike some of her other countrywomen, she didn’t go around the rules and buy a subscription using digital slight of hand and fabrication of a U.S. address. Instead, for every page or idea we posted, she took on the challenge of replicating it and making it her own. Bravo, Alison. It’s long overdue but I want you to know what high esteem all the pixies had for you during that time especially.
And, finally, for the newly promoted manager and well-deserving wonderlicious Meka, whose creative juices allowed her and are still allowing her to figure out so many artistic stretches to eek out every bit of Artisan functionality, congratulations!!! You are the epitome of stick-to-it-iveness. How many times did we talk and I hear you say, “I just need to be quiet and wait.”? Your patience in letting people catch up with those great, creative ideas of yours was admirable. Now the challenge will be for you to drive the truck with care and consideration for all those in the back so they don’t fall off the flatbed when you take one of your many exciting twists and turns! Over and over I have seen you grow in Christ as you’ve learned to keep counsel with the wise. You are a remarkable woman in so many ways and fully deserving of every good gift. I’m honored to call you my friend. Can’t wait to see what you figure out next! 🙂

  13. Bridget Clay says:

Can you be happy and sad at the same time…Today yes!!! So sad that Shelley and Alison are leaving. I have enjoyed your contributions to this wonderful community and you will be truly missed by many!!! Happy Happy Joy Joy for the awesome promotion for Tameka…YOU GO GIRL!!!! Looking forward to learning more from you and what you have planned for us in the future…We are all behind you!!!

  14. Terry Vachowski says:

My heart is both broken and gladdened at the same time. Alison and Shelley I’ve always felt as if we were good friends instead of just teachers and students. I will miss your constant day to day presence in my life. Tameka I’m so grateful to know you will be the one “in charge” of Pixels2Pages. There couldn’t possibly be a better choice anywhere. Best wishes to you all. Love you!

    • Alison says:

Thank you so much for these kind words Terry! I feel the same way about you, and am so thrilled with the way you have grown in your scrapbooking over the years. Keep learning and making wonderful pages to celebrate your memories!

    • Shelley says:

Back atcha Terry! I feel very blessed to count many of our members as friends even though we have never met in the flesh!

  15. jgreenhow says:

Congratulations Meka!. So happy for you. Sorry to see Alison and Shelley leaving the team. All the best in your new adventures

  16. Jan B says:

Congratulations Tameka! I can’t wait to see where you take us.

Shelley and Alison – I will both of you so much. Your layouts have always given me so much inspiration…they just fit my style. Thanks again and look forward to seeing your posts in the p2P community.
