Time flies.  I remember growing up thinking Christmas would never arrive.  My mom used to say your growing older when Christmas comes too fast every year!  It does and I can still hear her voice although she’s gone on to Heaven.  It seems as if every event comes quicker on my calendar.  Maybe it’s because the calendar is so full and I stay so busy with work and life that it just all keeps flowing together.  It certainly can’t be because I’m growing old(er)!

Take one of my nieces for instance.  She is the daughter of my baby brother.  My niece was just born…or so it seems.  I just got graduation pictures of her?  How did that happen so fast.  They don’t live nearby so every time I’ve seen her I’m in awe.  This is not the baby, toddler, little girl, adolescent, teenager that I’ve seen growing up.  She’s an adult? What? How can that possibly be? She’s finishing high school and been accepting into the University she wants to attend.  She plans on studying nursing?  Wow! She’s loving, smart, kind and beautiful and ready to take on the world.

I’ve decided to make a photo panel for her as one of her graduation gifts. I’ve done it now because “time flies” and her graduation will be here before I know it!  I’ve used her graduation pictures and her favorite Bible verse.  It fits her.  The “be*YOU*tiful” idea came from a page my teammate and friend Kim Mannino did.  I think it’s perfect for this gift!

What events do you have coming up? Time flies and they’ll be here before you know it.

    This is GORGEOUS!

I have a grandson graduating from high school this year (the LAST of the grandchildren). Next year the last four will be in college (Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman). We are winding down. Unfortunately, as fast as time flies, Ellie will be graduating from high school.

Now that I have chased a rabbit away from the original subject…What would you use for a boy instead of be-you-tiful?
