Today is the day I normally publish my blog, but we are currently working on some new and exciting things and I want to share them with you.

We are focused on making the site easier to navigate so that you can find exactly what you need. This will not happen overnight, but we will be working steadily on the changes.

The first change you will see is coming up later this month.  We are creating a Resource Guide that will organize the offerings on the site in a meaningful way, making it easier for you to find what you are looking for.  The Resource Guide is similar to a site map that groups text, images, and links to various related offerings.  It will consist of many sections which will be created over time.  Once all of the sections are completed, we will combine them into one handy manual that will be updated regularly.  In the meantime, each Resource Guide section will be a website post that can be viewed by both members and non-members; however, you will need to be a member to access the content it links to.  We think this will be very valuable for non-members as they will be able to see all of the wonderful content available on the site.   At the current time, if you are not logged in to an active membership, you cannot see what membership offerings are available.

You may notice that on our monthly calendar we have a lesson replacing a tip.  Actually, on November 27, 2018, we will be posting a whole section of the new Resource Guide instead of a tip!  This first section will be all about text.  We have over 140 text-related offerings on our website!  The text section of the Resource Guide will group and organize all text-related posts, allowing you to skim through the images quickly to see what is available.

In the coming months, as more Resource Guide sections are posted, we will combine existing offerings on our site to create lesson plans.  If you want to increase your knowledge on a specific tool or technique, the lesson plans will be the perfect way to go!  The lesson plans will be distributed in handout form and in a linked post, making them a valuable resource for Ambassadors or anyone hosting an event where attendees are p2P members.

Finally, we plan to form a committee of p2P members and non-members to serve as advisers to the pixels2Pages team.   We would like to have a diverse group of committee members who will provide us with valuable feedback as we move forward with improvements to the website during 2019.  If you are interested in assisting us in an advisory capacity, CLICK HERE to complete a brief form.   The pixels2Pages team will then review the entries and create the committee.  Those chosen to serve will be announced in mid-December 2018, so don’t wait to apply!

Happy Cropping!

  1. The new changes sound great! I can’t wait to see them. I filled out my form. I am amazed at the number of people who purchase the software and don’t take advantage of a pixels2Pages membership because they don’t have the time everyday to get on the site. I don’t get on the site as often as I would like — crazy busy work schedule — but I make the most of my time when I am on the site. I can’t imagine having Artisan and not having my p2P membership! Thanks, Pixies!

A HUGE undertaking, but it will be much appreciated. I love the idea that non-members will be able to see what the Pixies have to offer. I am sure it will encourage more people to join. Even though I find my membership invaluable, it is hard for a non-member to appreciate that. And, of course, finding what I’m looking for faster will be amazing! Thank you!

  5. Wow what an awesome undertaking. You girls are so wonderful to do this and what a great idea to have your Peeps help too. I will be anxious to see who will have the privilege to help with this. Hugs and you have my 100% support.

Wondering if the videos will continue. I ask that because I have low vision and it’s hard to read the print easily where as the videos make it much easier to see and understand

As a new member, one of my biggest frustrations so far, has been going to a help video only to discover it does not apply to Artisan 5 and the places they are clicking on do not exist, or are on a different tool bar under a different name.

This sounds fantastic – especially the timing as I’m starting to get more adventurous with my pages.
