Photo Matching Plaids [2:26 mins]
Choose a photo and add it to your page. Make sure the photograph is as tall as your project, so 12″ or 8″ in height depending on the size of your project.
Click on the photograph and on the Cut Ribbon>Shape>choose Rectangle.
Size the rectangle down to about a 1/8th – 1/4″ in width and it needs to be as tall as your project page.
Choose to keep the tall thin rectangle and then choose Cut.
Move the tall rectangle over the far left of your page right against the edge.
Select the small white square in the middle of the rectangle and pull this square across the page to cover. Make adjustments as necessary so that it covers the entire width of the page.
Now copy and paste this. Turn the top piece 90 degrees either left or right using the QAT directional arrows.
With the top element selected, go to the QAT and select the Opacity tool and reduce the opacity 50%.
Add in photograph, give it a mat as wanted. Add journaling box and embellishments.
