Once upon a time something memorable happened giving you a great memory.  But, guess what?  You are creating memories every single day; some more memorable that others, of course.  During crops, we put some of those memories on pages and create projects filled with our everyday memories.  These projects will bring us joy in the days, months, and years to come.  We love to look back at the past and preserve those stories and photographs. But with this game, we are going to create something for the future.  We are going to use FOREVER albums to create time capsules to be opened at a future date.

  1. Think about someone for whom you would like to create a time capsule.  It could be for you, it can be for a child, a family member, or a special friend.
  2. Create an Album Cover using the video featured at the end of this post.   This album cover is what you will share in the p2P Facebook Community or in our FOREVER Collaborative Albums to enter the random draw.  Be sure to check out the pretty cool embellishments in the Once Upon A Time Crop Kit that would look great for your time capsule cover.
  3. Log in to your FOREVER account and create an album.  Make the album private.   Decide on a date sometime in the future when you would like the time capsule to be opened.   In the file name be sure to add “DO NOT OPEN UNTIL [DATE]”.  If you use an Outlook, Gmail calendar, or any type of long term calendar, set a reminder that you have a time capsule to be opened or shared on that date.  Upload your album cover to the FOREVER Album.
  4. Fill the album with photos and add a story to the description.  You can also add video messages to the album.
  5. On your chosen date (in the future), deliver the time capsule to your chosen recipient.  (Hopefully you will get a reminder from your calendar.

This digital time capsule is going to be a wonderful gift for someone.  Please DO NOT SHARE YOUR TIME CAPSULE (ALBUM) publicly.   We anticipate that this may have very sensitive information.

You have two ways to win:

  1. To enter the random draw for the exclusive Blueprint of the day, you will share the album cover that you created (#2).
  2. Add a special p2P memory or message to our Time Capsule (a collaborative album).  You can add a video message, a photo with a written message in the description, or a page you have created.  CLICK HERE to add your message to the p2P Time Capsule.  We will open the time capsule during our birthday month in 2022.
