When we moved to Indiana in late January, I had no idea I would be surrounded by such beauty every day. Frozen fog in the winter that frosted the trees in the most remarkable and awe inspiring, sparkling display, horses grazing and free to run in fields literally within two blocks of my home – in every direction, flowering trees, long eternal country roads, and enormous houses surrounded by corn fields, stables, and small lakes… the list could go on and on.
Pictures like these make me long for a country life I’ve never lived. Somehow I am certain that I would fully appreciate walking my imaginary farm or saddling up my old, gentle horse for a slow, easy ride over the back forty.
